Pat Haro is a native of Silicon Valley, and began his career in 1984 as an Associate with the retained executive search division of Gary Nelson & Associates in their Cupertino, California office.

In 1987, Mr. Haro was "headhunted" by one of his customers, joining Seagate Technology as Senior Consulting Recruiter in their Scotts Valley, California office, where he supported the Executive Vice President & Chief Technology Officer.

It was in 1988 that Seagate sent Mr. Haro to Asia for the first, but not the last time; they eventually agreed to provide the financial support necessary to create PHR Group, a retained executive search firm founded in Singapore by Mr. Haro and today headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Since 1990, PHR Group has conducted over 700 retained searches for senior executives and their subordinates for positions based in the U.S., Asia and Europe.

Their recent customers include: Albany Molecular Research, AMB Property, Carpenter Technology, Carrier, CH2M Hill, Columbus McKinnon, Conexant Systems, EchoStar Communications, First Advantage, FutureBrand, IMS Health, International Game Technology, Jabil Circuit, Jacobs Engineering, Network Appliance, Palm, PPG Industries, Stryker, United Parcel Service, Universal Music, Western Digital, World Fuel Services and World Wrestling Entertainment.

In addition to his current role as Chairman & Chief Financial Officer of PHR Group, Mr. Haro provides career counseling to over 200 executives each year on a pro bono basis.

Mr. Haro received a B.S. degree in Organizational Behavior from the University of San Francisco and an MBA in Corporate Finance from the University of Chicago.
